Team's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
This year we, Jules Greenberg and Natalie Spear, are privileged to be nominated as candidates to lead a team (Friends for a Cure), in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) 2023 Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. Student Visionaries of the Year is a seven-week fundraising competition led by high school students to raise money to support LLS and their cause.
We ask for your support of our campaign and LLS’s mission to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease or myeloma. We have been given an opportunity to help others and we cannot do it without your support.
From January 8 – February 25, Leukemia League’s goal is to raise over $50,000! Yes, you read that correctly, more than $50,000 in 7 weeks, which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission. We know this is an ambitious undertaking, but we know that we can achieve it with the help of our amazing friends and families.
After a friend of mine told me about LLS and her experience as a team leader, I instantly knew this was something I was interested in. After watching my uncle fight blood cancer himself, I began to understand how important these organizations are to helping with the prevention and treatment of blood cancer.
- Natalie
I have always loved helping others and LLS seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so! Blood cancer treatment and prevention are crucial and it is important that everyone who needs help can have access to it.
- Jules
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!
